Cheesecake Jars

Cheesecake Jars are an easy, elegant no-bake dessert, featuring a crunchy graham cracker crust layered with silky cream cheese filling and whipped cream for a light and airy texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 8 ounces full-fat brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Toppings (your choice, such as fruit, chocolate sauce, or whipped cream)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your jars: Gather 6 clean 8-ounce jars or 10 clean 6-ounce jars and set them on a tray or work surface.
  2. Make the crust: Melt the unsalted butter. In a bowl, mix the butter with the graham cracker crumbs until the mixture resembles wet sand. Pack about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the crust mixture into the bottom of each jar.
  3. Whip the cream: In a chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form.
  4. Beat the cream cheese base: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and lump-free.
  5. Fold in whipped cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula.
  6. Layer the filling: Spoon or pipe the filling over the crusts in the jars, dividing it evenly.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the filling to set.
  8. Serve with toppings: Add desired toppings just before serving and enjoy.

Notes

Press the crust firmly for a stable base and use room temperature cream cheese for a lump-free filling.
