The Ultimate Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Create a small well in each dough ball and add about ½ tablespoon of salted caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week. For a fun spin, try adding nuts or espresso powder.
