Ultimate 4-Ingredient Caramel Apple Dump Cake

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel bits or chips
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or prepare a 6-quart slow cooker insert.
  2. Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish or the slow cooker insert.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the apple layer.
  4. Scatter the caramel bits evenly over the cake mix layer.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the entire surface.
  6. Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden brown (or slow cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or HIGH for 1.5-2 hours).
  7. Allow the dump cake to cool slightly before serving.
