Peanut Butter Blossoms

Deliciously soft and chewy peanut butter cookies topped with chocolate kisses, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and egg. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually stir in the baking soda and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and roll each ball in granulated sugar.
  5. Place the balls on ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the tops start to crack.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
