Oreo Truffles

These bite-size Oreo Truffles are rich, creamy, and impossibly easy to make with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, coated in smooth melted chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet or white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • Sprinkles (for decoration, optional)
  • Oreo crumbs (for coating or garnish)
  • Additional melted chocolate (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the crushed Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse into a fine crumb.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1 tablespoon-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for at least 1 hour.
  5. Melt the chopped chocolate with optional oil in the microwave or a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and place on a lined plate.
  7. Optionally, add sprinkles or extra Oreo crumbs on top before chocolate sets.
  8. Refrigerate again for 1 hour before serving.
  9. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Chill the truffle centers overnight to save time on dipping day. For the best texture, let truffles sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
