Mozzarella Garlic Butter Chicken Bowties

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken and bowtie pasta in a rich, creamy mozzarella sauce with aromatic garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups bowtie pasta
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. Reserve a splash of pasta cooking water in case you need to loosen the sauce later.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stir, and let it simmer for a few minutes to thicken.
  5. Add the shredded mozzarella, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Coat the cooked bowtie pasta in the sauce and toss gently.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best melty texture. Use reserved pasta water sparingly to thin the sauce without diluting flavor.
