  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (like bell peppers or carrots)
  • Cooked rice or quinoa

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned and fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add diced vegetables to the skillet and sauté for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture over cooked rice or quinoa and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes
