A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, wrapped in a warm tortilla, featuring a gooey cheese center and a crispy exterior.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (or your favorite)
  • 3 oz. Cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Butter or olive oil
  • Optional add-ins: Cooked chicken, sautéed veggies, or salsa

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of shredded cheese with 3 oz. of softened cream cheese and any optional add-ins.
  2. Warm a tortilla in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds.
  3. Spread about ½ cup of the cheese mixture in the center of the warm tortilla.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it from the bottom up, tucking the filling tightly.
  5. Add 1 tsp of butter or oil to the skillet and place the burrito seam-side down. Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Check for a crispy exterior and melty inside. Remove from heat and let it rest for a minute before slicing.
