Garlic Butter Chicken with Bowtie Pasta

A warm, garlicky dish featuring tender chicken breasts seared to perfection and tossed with buttery bowtie pasta and fragrant garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Fresh minced garlic
  • 8 ounces Bowtie pasta
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry and slice if necessary for even cooking.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until it foams briefly.
  4. Cook chicken in the skillet until golden and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes per side. Remove and tent with foil.
  5. Add minced garlic to the butter, cooking until fragrant, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet or slice and add to the drained pasta. Toss with butter and garlic, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  7. Remove from heat, add Parmesan, and toss until it coats the pasta and chicken.
  8. Serve warm on plates, adding additional pasta water if the sauce seems tight.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before cooking for a better crust. Serve immediately and use fresh Parmesan for the best flavor.
