Garlic Butter Beef & Cheesy Bowtie Pasta

A comforting family-friendly dish featuring tender beef in a rich garlic butter sauce, served over cheesy bowtie pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz. Bowtie Pasta (Farfalle)
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions (around 10-12 minutes) until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add ground beef and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and add the cooked pasta to the beef in the skillet. Pour in the remaining butter and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add the cheddar and parmesan cheeses, stirring in reserved pasta water if necessary for a creamy consistency.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. Avoid adding garnishes until just before serving.
