Garlic Butter Baked Chicken

This garlic butter baked chicken features a golden, buttery crust and juicy meat, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Make sure the oven rack is in the center for even heat circulation.
  2. Melt the butter over medium heat in a saucepan and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 to 2 minutes, stirring to avoid browning the garlic.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter over the top, ensuring each piece is coated.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For even cooking, choose chicken breasts of similar size or pound them lightly to an even thickness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
