Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Breast

Tender and juicy chicken breasts bathed in fragrant garlic butter, perfect for a weeknight dinner or date night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (58 oz. each)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Place an oven-safe skillet or baking dish near the stove.
  2. Pound the chicken to 1/2″ thickness. Place each breast between two pieces of plastic wrap and gently pound with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  3. Season the chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper, coating both sides evenly.
  4. Mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl until well combined.
  5. Optionally, sear the chicken in olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  6. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes, then spoon more garlic butter over the chicken before serving.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before pounding for better seasoning adherence. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
