Creamy Childhood Treat

A nostalgic dessert blending smooth vanilla pudding and whipped cream, layered with crunchy graham crackers and topped with chocolate chips. Perfect for family gatherings and summer picnics.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the vanilla pudding with the vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers with the melted butter. Mix until the crackers are evenly coated.
  4. In a serving dish, layer half of the graham cracker mixture onto the bottom.
  5. Spread half of the creamy pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining graham cracker mixture followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  7. Top with the last pudding layer.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top of the pudding layer.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon to the graham cracker mixture for warmth. This dessert is not ideal for freezing.
