Creamy Beef and Shells

A comforting dish of tender pasta shells coated in a rich, creamy sauce with ground beef, perfect for weeknight dinners and family gatherings.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta by cooking the pasta shells in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Season the browned beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.
  4. Add beef broth and simmer for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, mixing until cheese melts.
  6. Fold in the pasta shells until they are well coated with the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to swap ground beef for turkey or plant-based options. This dish is also great for leftovers and can be reheated easily.
