Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

A comforting casserole combining crispy tater tots, tender chicken, and a creamy sauce, perfect for family dinners.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until tater tots are crispy and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
