Chocolate Caramel Dump Cake

A simple and indulgent dessert that combines rich chocolate flavors with gooey caramel in a delightful dump cake format.

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk or plant-based alternative
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, caramel sauce, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Stir until just blended.
  3. If using, fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the batter into it.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is firm and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with additional caramel sauce.
  7. Serve warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cake mixes for varied flavors. You can also substitute eggs and milk for vegan versions.
