Banana Split Dump Cake

A delightful an easy dessert that combines classic banana split flavors into a warm, comforting dump cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Peeled and slice the bananas into coins and layer them evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Pour the crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pineapple and bananas without mixing.
  5. Top with chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
  6. Melt the butter and drizzle it evenly over the mixture.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
