  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ cups diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a standard muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the buttermilk, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
  5. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed.
  7. Fill the muffin tins about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
