The Ultimate Condensed Milk Pecan Pie

A delicious pecan pie with a creamy condensed milk filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using a pre-made crust, place it into a 9-inch pie dish, crimping the edges. If making from scratch, roll out your dough and fit it into the dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in the pecan halves gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the filling.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust, leveling it out gently.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and the filling has set.
  7. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Slice into pieces and serve warm or at room temperature, with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh pecans and experimenting with variations like chocolate or maple pecan pie.
