Puff Pastry Pizza

A quick and delightful meal featuring flaky, buttery puff pastry topped with your favorite pizza ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup of pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press it out to fit your desired pizza size.
  3. Score a border around the edges of the puff pastry with a knife, about ½ inch in from the edge.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the base within the scored border.
  5. Layer on the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Add your favorite toppings on top of the cheese.
  7. (Optional) Brush the edges with a beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

Leftover pizza can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispness.
