Pecan Pie Cheesecake Trifle

A show-stopping dessert that combines creamy cheesecake and nutty pecan pie in beautiful layers, perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of your dish. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and half of the whipped cream, folding gently.
  3. Layer the trifle, starting with graham cracker crust, then cheesecake filling, chopped pecans, and caramel sauce. Repeat layers until full.
  4. Top with remaining whipped cream and garnish with chopped pecans or caramel.
  5. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

For an enhanced flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon to the cheesecake layer. This dessert can be made ahead of time and lasts up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
