Pecan Pie Bars

Delicious pecan pie bars with a rich buttery crust and gooey filling, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, flour, and brown sugar until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and remaining brown sugar until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans into the filling.
  5. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for an additional 25–30 minutes, until the filling is set and the top is caramelized.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
