One-Pan Butter Parmesan Pasta

A simple, comforting one-pan dish featuring pasta enveloped in a creamy buttery sauce with Parmesan cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add uncooked pasta to the pan and stir to coat with melted garlic butter.
  4. Pour in the broth, bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is al dente.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley or additional Parmesan if desired before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven with a splash of broth for best results.
