Lunch Lady Pretzel Bars

Delicious and easy-to-make Lunch Lady Pretzel Bars with a crunchy exterior and gooey, chewy center, perfect for families.

  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Crush the pretzels into small pieces.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the brown sugar until bubbly.
  4. Fold in the crushed pretzels and press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle mini marshmallows over the pretzel base and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Pour chocolate chips over the baked marshmallows, spreading them evenly once softened.
  7. Allow to cool, lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days. Can be refrigerated but may change texture. Reheat in the microwave or in the oven for a crispy finish.
