Lemon Chicken Romano

A delightful dish that combines tender chicken with zesty lemon and savory Romano cheese, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • ½ cup Romano cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add lemon juice and sprinkle Romano cheese over the chicken, cooking for another minute.
  5. Transfer chicken to a platter and let it rest before serving.
