Holiday Vanilla Cinnamon Snack Cake Bars

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together.
  3. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in a separate bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
