Heavenly Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie Recipe

An indulgent dessert combining fudgy brownies with a warm chocolate fudge center, topped with melting vanilla ice cream.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9-inch square baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  4. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish, spoon half of the hot fudge sauce over it, then pour remaining batter on top.
  7. Drizzle the rest of the fudge on top.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of extra hot fudge.
