Gingerbread Truffles

Delicious chocolate-covered truffles filled with gingerbread flavors, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gingerbread cookie crumbs
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 8 oz dark or milk chocolate (for coating)
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, or cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine gingerbread cookie crumbs, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix until well combined.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  3. Take a spoonful of the chilled mixture and roll it into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, then let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
  6. Return the coated truffles to the lined baking sheet and sprinkle with your preferred toppings.
  7. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate is set.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
