Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Alfredo Tortellini

A comforting meal featuring tender steak bites with a garlic butter crust paired with creamy cheese tortellini in a velvety Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs steak bites (sirloin, ribeye, or preferred cut)
  • 3 tbsp butter (for cooking steak)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp butter (for Alfredo sauce)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 3 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 30 to 45 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Combine the drained tortellini with the Alfredo sauce, tossing gently to coat. Serve the creamy tortellini alongside the garlic butter steak bites.

Notes

Use room temperature steak bites for even searing. Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce thickness.
