Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and patting them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season the chicken in a bowl with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix gently to coat each piece.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it foams and turns slightly golden.
  4. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken pieces in a single layer in the skillet and cook for 5 to 7 minutes without stirring.
  6. Stir the chicken and continue cooking for another 5 to 7 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and toss to coat.
  8. Serve optionally with lemon wedges.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the skillet to ensure proper browning. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the chicken’s internal temperature for safety.
