Easy Beef Tenderloin

A tender and flavorful beef tenderloin recipe that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 Beef Tenderloin, well-marbled
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • Fresh Herbs (such as Rosemary or Thyme)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the tenderloin dry with paper towels and season all sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the tenderloin for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  4. Add crushed garlic and fresh herbs around the tenderloin.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until a meat thermometer reads 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  6. Remove the skillet from the oven and cover the tenderloin loosely with foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Slice the beef into thick slices and drizzle pan juices over it before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using a light marinade or experimenting with different herbs.
