Decadent Chocolate Caramel Dump Cake

A simple yet luxurious dessert combining rich chocolate flavors with gooey caramel, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, and melted butter, stirring until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the top of the batter.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly on top.
  6. Pour the remaining caramel sauce over the chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are slightly pulling away from the pan and the top is glossy.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
