Creamy Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole

A comforting, family-friendly dish featuring tender chicken and a creamy sauce, topped with a crunchy Ritz cracker crust.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups Ritz crackers, crushed
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter, then spread the mixture over the creamy chicken base.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Swap chicken for turkey or use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
