Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta

A rich and comforting pasta dish combining tender chicken chunks with a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Pasta (300g)
  • Chicken breast (500g)
  • Garlic (4 cloves)
  • Heavy cream (1 cup)
  • Parmesan cheese (1 cup, grated)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. While the pasta cooks, cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet with the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer. Add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as necessary.
  7. Plate the pasta warm, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt. You can also add sautéed mushrooms or fresh spinach for additional flavors.
