Creamy Beef Taco Stuffed Shells

A comforting dish of jumbo pasta shells stuffed with seasoned beef, cream cheese, and topped with a gooey blend of taco cheese, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • Ground beef
  • Cream cheese
  • Shredded taco cheese blend
  • Taco seasoning
  • Tomato sauce
  • Sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot of salted water, boil the jumbo shells until al dente. Drain and let cool.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning.
  4. Mix in cream cheese and tomato sauce until smooth, then remove from heat and fold in half of the shredded cheese.
  5. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining shredded cheese, cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving, optionally garnishing with sour cream or fresh cilantro.

Notes

Meal can be made ahead of time and baked fresh. Leftovers can be stored for up to three days in the refrigerator.
