Cracked Garlic Steak Tortellini in Creamhouse Sauce Bliss

A luxurious dish combining Italian comfort food with classic steak flavors, featuring tortellini in a rich, creamy sauce enhanced by cracked garlic and tender steak.

Ingredients

  • Fresh or frozen tortellini, stuffed with cheese or meat
  • Tender steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • Fresh cracked garlic
  • Heavy cream
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions until they float. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil, reduce the heat to medium, and sauté the cracked garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Combine the cooked tortellini and seared steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat, fold in the grated Parmesan and fresh herbs, and adjust seasoning as necessary.
  7. Serve garnished with extra cheese or herbs if desired.

Notes

Feel free to use chicken or shrimp instead of steak, and consider topping with fun-shaped crackers for kids.
