Crack Chicken Pierogi Casserole

A delightful fusion of creamy chicken, rich cheese, and tender pierogi, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 package (16 oz) frozen pierogi
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate chicken broth into the mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish, spread a layer of frozen pierogi evenly across the bottom.
  5. Spoon half of the chicken mixture over the pierogi and spread it evenly.
  6. Add another layer of pierogi on top, followed by the remaining chicken mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
