Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

Delightful bite-sized morsels combining the flavors of cinnamon rolls and French toast, baked to golden perfection.

  • 1 loaf of bread (preferably brioche or challah)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Optional glaze: powdered sugar and milk mixed until drizzled consistency

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the loaf into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch in size.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, granulated sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the bread cubes to the egg mixture and gently fold until evenly coated. Let soak for about 10 minutes.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour in the soaked bread mixture, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  7. If desired, mix powdered sugar and milk for the glaze and drizzle it over the baked bites before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute with almond or soy milk. Adjust spices according to taste for extra flavor.
