Church Lady Butter Toffee Pretzels

A delightful treat of crisp, salty pretzels coated in buttery toffee, perfect for snacking or gatherings.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt together the butter and brown sugar, stirring until it bubbles, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. In a mixing bowl, pour the pretzels and coat them with the toffee mixture, gently tossing.
  6. Spread the coated pretzels evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, ensuring they don’t burn.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for 15 minutes before serving.
