Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars are a delightful snack that combines fragrant oats, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate for a satisfying treat.

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and salt. Stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Add peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Mix well using a spatula or your hands.
  4. Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Line a 9×9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly, pressing down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the top is set.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then remove using the parchment and slice into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
