Chocolate Caramel Dump Cake

An effortless dessert combining rich chocolate and gooey caramel, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Stir until just combined.
  3. Pour the cake batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cake batter and swirl slightly.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and nuts evenly over the caramel layer.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  7. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for best results. Can be adapted for gluten-free or vegan options.
