Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls

A heartwarming meal featuring golden crusty bread bowls filled with creamy Alfredo sauce and tender chicken.

  • 4 large bread rolls
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Hollow out the bread rolls, leaving about half an inch of crust.
  3. In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and cook the garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
  6. Stir in the shredded chicken and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Ladle the mixture into the hollowed bread rolls.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Experiment with different proteins or add-ins for a personalized touch.
