Decadent Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars combine creamy cheesecake, tart apples, and a buttery graham cracker crust, topped with gooey caramel for a perfect autumn treat.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups apples, thinly sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until combined; press into the bottom of a lined 9×9 inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat the cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add sour cream and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Peel and slice the apples thinly; toss with a tablespoon of sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and arrange the apples on top.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow to cool, then drizzle with caramel sauce and refrigerate for at least an hour before slicing.

Notes

Serve chilled with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful combination.
