  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can substitute coconut oil for a dairy-free option and use a gluten-free flour blend if necessary.
