Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs

A delightful twist on classic cheeseburgers, these meatballs blend ground beef, crumbled bacon, and bourbon for a rich, flavorful experience.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, bourbon, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a lightly greased baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
  6. Let sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a different flavor, substitute Worcestershire sauce with your favorite barbecue sauce.
