  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
