  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Scoop balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden, then let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
